Recommendation letter-
It was difficult for me to get these recommendation letters, I had three advisers at Vermont College but one passed away and another is ill. Joyce Mandeville, fromt he TW Wood gallery sent a letter. She is the curator from the gallery that received the Dick Hathaway sculpture that I created as part of my study at Vermont College.
I had spent quite a few hours in Victor Ehly's office- the Dean at Vermont College. Mostly concerning getting the Dick Hathaway sculpture approved, and also concerning marketing of the school. I really think these programs are so incredible the word must get out there. So Victor and I did have somewhat of an academic relationship. He has sent a letter today.
Grouping for what I needed, I went to the person who wrote me a letter from my undergraduate work. He reminded me he did that when I asked him for the graduate letter. I had forgotten to be perfectly honest. And so Father Bill of St. Alban's church was also asked. He is very familiar with my work and me as a person. I have been pretty active in the church over the years. I am part of the worship team, and have taught Sunday school. As well as helped with marketing from time to time.
I had also asked Susan Sawyer, my only instructor if she would send a letter. I don't know about that one. She is my only academic adviser. I only need three letters. I'm not sure if what I have is sufficient.
That is the update on my letters. I am anxious to have everything in, mostly because I want to talk with Financial aid and see just how much out of pocket expenses I will have. My FAFSA has been filled out and so a finacial aid packet is what I seek.
