OH the dreaded G2 progress report.

I have to say that trying to get the progress report done and still get packets in during your G2 semester is a bit much. I am glad I started early. I'm entering into my 4th packet of my g2 semester. Just number 4 and 5 to go. My G2 progress report draft is due with packet number 4.

I guess I did it a little backward. I worked on my artist statements. I say statement's' because I have two tracks that I am on during graduate school. Writing and art. So I feel compelled to do the work for both. I guess it kind of means I doing 2 progress reports. Ahh, a glutton for punishment.

Then I moved to gathering my bibliography. I knew I should start pulling both G2 bib and G1 bib together. This is the perfect time to do that. I also picked some of my most influential resources from the bibs and wrote about that. Doing this first really helped me to understand what I would put in my narrative. I also put a table of contents in my G2 progress report. The table of contents is something that I have done since my first semester. My advisor Judy expected it with each practice, and I like the idea of it.

All the other portions are complete, now the narrative, but instead I am here posting. PROCRASTINATION! Anyway.. I found this website of Emily Dunbar. It has her progress report on her website. ( It was called a g3 previously and was due in g3. They changed this last semester and it is due in your g2 semester. I guess they decided since this report really helps to define if you are going in the direction that you need to and fulfilling all of the requirements to graduate it is better to do it a little earlier.)

I expect I will post mine at the end of this semester, just in case it helps anyone else with theirs. I have asked other classmates what theirs looked like and mine looks nothing like theirs. I expect it would be advisable for others to do the same.
