I love my study!

I love this study and Vermont College!

I have been doing my study for a month now. It is going very well. I was worried because everyone at school was saying things like, “My study was hard to fit in my schedule” or “ great study” but then they would look like they were overwhelmed. I did not know what to think. I am however, a highly motivated person so my study does not really feel like any more work than I was already doing. Even with the added stress of building a new studio and office.

I sent in my first package to my instructor, 2 weeks early. I hope I can keep ahead of the game. I have read probably 7 books already instead of just my 4 for the month. I just loved the books so it made it easy to read. My package consisted of 4 books and 40 pages of double spaced writing. I am sure that was too much to send, not what was asked of me, but I have decided to make my study into a book, so I am once again encouraged and motivated.

The study itself is fascinating. If you remember I am studying how I create posthumous portraits. I talk about not only the mechanical process but the spiritual and emotional process as well for both my client and myself.

Just when I think it can’t go any deeper it does.

I am going into my second month and just can’t wait to continue. I am thrilled to have found Vermont College and wish I had found it sooner.
